Description

Kate Williams will be leading a free webinar, “Singing with Survivors of Sexual Abuse,” on Tuesday, August 23, at 2:00 p.m. ET. The world and the church are places marred by sin and abuse. Our field of congregational song is no exception. However, The Hymn Society still believes that the holy act of singing together shapes faith, heals brokenness, transforms lives, and renews peace. Because of those beliefs, we know that how and what we sing is as important as ever. We invite you to join this free webinar designed to help church musicians and pastors navigate the question of why and how our music ministries can be survivor-focused. Kate Williams of GIA Publications has been a leader in the effort to become survivor-focused and will guide us in a prophetic conversation.

The webinar is free to members and non-members, but registration is required.
