Description

CELEBRATE AND EXPLORE THE FIRST 100 YEARS

For more than 100 years The Hymn Society in the United States and Canada has promoted and advocated for congregational song. Please join us for a Zoom gathering on Monday, April 29, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m.,

to explore that history and to celebrate the recent published A Calling and A Community: The Hymn Society, 1922-2021.

In addition to a presentation by author Paul A. Richardson, FHS, we will hear reflections from former Executive Directors Deborah Carlton Loftis, FHS, and Carl P. Daw, Jr., FHS. Registered participants will also have an opportunity to ask questions and offer their own insights.

If you don’t yet have a copy of the book, you may place your order here. We are grateful to Paul Richardson for creating this fascinating and comprehensive historical account and to GIA Publications for their generous support of this project.
